You can start before you have online payments.
Create an account and set up your organiser profile. You can organise as an individual, sole trader, company, charity or other eligible organisation. Payout setup is only needed when you want nawhe? to take paid ticket bookings for you.
Already see your event on nawhe?
Some events may be added from publicly available event information so people can discover what is happening. If you organise or manage the event, use the public Claim this event option or a secure invitation sent by nawhe?. Sign in, provide the requested evidence and submit the claim for review.
If nawhe? previously listed the organiser name slightly differently, your current promoter profile name supersedes it publicly. The earlier name is retained internally for matching, provenance and audit history rather than creating a duplicate organiser.
Once a claim is pending or approved, the public claim prompt is removed. A genuine later ownership dispute should use Report event → Ownership / organiser issue so nawhe? can moderate it without advertising a public challenge prompt.
Build your event in one compact workspace.
Event basics, image, date and location stay visible together. Attendance then determines ticketing/payment behaviour, and Review keeps optional enrichment separate from publishing essentials.

Your event can still move forward.
You can prepare and, where the event requirements are complete, publish while payout setup is unfinished. Register Interest, free RSVP, tickets sold elsewhere and no-registration events can still be used. Paid ticket sales through nawhe? wait until your payout setup is ready.
Understand your ticket earnings.
The Payments & payouts page separates organiser-set ticket face value from buyer-paid nawhe? service & payment fees. For standard native ticket sales, nawhe? does not deduct its standard fee from the face value you set. Refunds, chargebacks, disputes and optional premium payout services remain separate.
Fees & payments →Manage attendees and staff.
See bookings and ticket holders, give event-specific access to door staff, and use QR or manual check-in. If you expect poor internet access, prepare and test the offline guest list before doors open.
Common organiser questions
Do I need a company?
No. You can organise as an individual where appropriate. If a company or other organisation should receive the money, choose that route during payout setup.
Do I need Stripe or Paystack before joining?
No. Set up payouts only when you are ready to sell paid tickets through nawhe?.
Can I publish before payout setup is complete?
Yes, when the rest of the event is ready. Paid nawhe? sales simply stay unavailable until payouts are ready.
Does nawhe? take its fee from my ticket price?
Not under the standard native ticket model. You set the ticket face value and the attendee pays the applicable nawhe? service & payment fee on top. Refunds, chargebacks, disputes and optional premium payout services remain separate.
Does nawhe? hold my money in a wallet?
No general withdrawable nawhe? wallet is used for native ticket sales. The supported payment provider separates the organiser’s face-value ticket entitlement and nawhe? amounts within the transaction flow. Your connected Stripe/Paystack account and bank remain subject to provider availability, verification and payout timing.
Why might my event already be on nawhe?
nawhe? may surface legitimate public event information for discovery with source/organiser attribution. If you are the organiser, claim the event so you can manage its listing and future attendee journey.
Can staff check people in?
Yes. Give staff event-specific access without sharing your main organiser login.
