Do it, step by step.

Short practical walkthroughs based on the current nawhe? workflow.

CREATE & PUBLISH

How to create your first event

  1. Sign in and open your organiser workspace.
  2. Choose Create event.
  3. Complete the event basics, date/time, venue, admission, discovery and artwork.
  4. Save as a draft whenever you need to stop.
  5. Preview the public page and correct anything unclear.
  6. Publish when the event is ready. If you want to sell paid tickets through nawhe?, finish payout setup before opening sales.
ADMISSION

How to choose tickets or registration

  1. Open the event and go to Admission.
  2. Choose how people will eventually attend: nawhe? tickets, free RSVP, tickets sold elsewhere or no registration.
  3. If tickets are not on sale yet, choose Register Interest, Announced or Tickets Coming Soon.
  4. For nawhe? tickets, add the ticket types you need, such as Regular, VIP or Table.
  5. Set the price, quantity and sale dates where applicable.
  6. Preview the public event page before promoting it.
UNITED KINGDOM

How to set up UK payouts

  1. Open Payments & payouts in your organiser workspace.
  2. Choose Set up UK payouts.
  3. Stripe will ask whether the money is being received by you as an individual or by an organisation, then request the identity and bank details needed for that situation.
  4. Complete the secure steps with Stripe and return to nawhe?.
  5. When the payout account is ready, paid ticket sales through nawhe? can open.

You do not need to create a company simply to organise an event. You can prepare free, interest-only or externally ticketed events before payout setup is complete.

NIGERIA

How to set up Nigerian payouts

  1. Open Payments & payouts in your organiser workspace.
  2. Choose the Nigerian bank you want to use.
  3. Enter a bank account you are authorised to receive event earnings into.
  4. nawhe? asks Paystack to verify the account and prepare supported NGN payouts.
  5. When the payout status is ready, test your event checkout before public promotion.

You never need nawhe?'s Paystack login or secret account details.

EVENT TEAM

How to add event staff

  1. Open the event management workspace.
  2. Go to the staff/access area.
  3. Add only the people who need event-day access.
  4. Give each person only the role they need.
  5. Remove access when it is no longer needed.
EVENT DAY

How to check guests in

  1. Open the event's door/check-in workspace.
  2. Prepare the offline guest list before doors open if you expect poor internet access.
  3. Start the camera scanner, or enter a ticket code manually.
  4. Confirm the guest is marked as checked in before admitting another copy of the same ticket.
  5. Synchronise queued offline check-ins when connection returns.
ATTENDEES

How to find and manage attendees

  1. Open the relevant event.
  2. Search by name, email, booking reference or ticket.
  3. Use exports only when they are genuinely needed to run the event.
  4. Keep attendee information protected and do not add people to unrelated marketing without the appropriate permission or legal basis.
REFUNDS

How to handle a refund request

  1. Find the booking and confirm the event/ticket involved.
  2. Review the event terms, what happened and any refund rights that apply.
  3. Approve the refund only when it should be given.
  4. Confirm the related ticket is updated after processing.
  5. Remember that the attendee's bank or card service controls when returned money becomes visible.

If the ticket was bought elsewhere, the organiser and that ticket provider handle the refund process.
